The home itself is rich in history - purchased in the 1940’s, this former Mance was sited on 11 acres at the time and reported to have several ponds where water lilies were grown by the priest that lived there for the Denver City Parks. Dr. Gatewood and Mrs. Maxine Milligan bought the home and turned it into the residential home where four generations have enjoyed the property.
